ALBY’S LETTERS TO HENRY
Written from Mull
by Iain Tennant
Some years ago, during a Christmas holiday, four year old Henry threw a tantrum and wouldn’t go to sleep. Seeing the exasperation of Henry’s parents, the grandfather asked permission to quieten his grandson. Not knowing where the idea came from he told Henry about Alby the stag –instant peace was the result. But that was not that. Henry started to receive letters from Alby – his fifty-two delightful and humorous letters from ‘Stagland’ on Mull are captured in this wonderful book that is as much for adults as it is for children.
This book is a not for personal profit – the now adult Henry is dedicating the proceeds towards the people of the Ross of Mull.
